He completed his surgical residency at St. Barnabas Hospital (Bronx, NY) covering both podiatric and orthopedic trauma services. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM). He is an active fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons (ASPS) and the American College of Podiatric Medicine (ACPM). He is an associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM). He is also a fellow of the Faculty of Podiatric Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
He is currently a partner with offices in Edison, Metuchen, Lawrenceville, Bridgewater, and Clark. He holds staff privileges at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, RWJ Barnabas Monmouth Medical Center (Southern Campus), and Raritan Bay Medical Center (Old Bridge & Perth Amboy).
Interests:
Outside of work, he has served as a board member for many organizations. He is currently the Communication Director (Foot Care) for the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Secretary/Treasurer (Executive Board) for the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society, Board of Director for the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons (ASPS), and 2nd Vice President for the Rutgers Touchdown Club (Football). He was a former board member for the Institute of Podiatric Excellence and Development (IPED). He is active an associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine (AAPSM). He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the Rutgers Club, the Rutgers University Alumni Association, the Columbia University Alumni Club of NJ, associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police (local, state, & national), and the local chambers of commerce in both Edison and Metuchen. As an educator, he contributed to the Compendium of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in 2012. He has written articles on practice management for Podiatry Management. He is currently on the Education Committee for the ASPS, CME committee for NJPMS, and has served as NJ delegate (alternate) to the APMA’s House of Delegates. He has lectured both locally and nationally. As a board member for the New Jersey Podiatric Physicians and Surgeons Group (NJPPSG), he is an active member of both the Compliance Committee and the Partner Engagement/Education Committee.
Special Interest: diabetes, sports medicine, and biomechanics.
